What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 chimes — and for memorial and wedding pieces a single chime is a normal order — with volume tiers for corporate runs and retail programmes.
How fast will my wind chimes arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and finished chimes ship in about 2 weeks from your approved proof, with real express available when a wedding or memorial date is fixed.
What actually makes one wind chime sound better than another?
Three build decisions, all invisible in photos: tube length cut to real notes rather than approximate ones, the hang hole drilled at each tube’s node so the cord doesn’t choke the ring, and a striker centred to hit every tube’s sweet spot. Wall thickness then decides sustain. All four are stated on our quotes; none appear on a typical listing.
Why won’t you engrave the aluminum tubes?
Because engraving removes metal, and removing metal from a tuned tube shifts its note — an engraved tube is a detuned tube. Your names, dates and logos go on the sail and clapper where they read better anyway. Bamboo is the exception: its voice is percussive, so tube engraving costs it nothing.
Aluminum or bamboo?
They are different instruments. Aluminum rings — real chords, long sustain, the classic chime voice — and never rusts. Bamboo knocks — warm, woody, rain-on-a-roof — and can be engraved all over. We will tell you plainly which suits your garden, gift or venue; many programmes run both.
What chords and keys can you tune to?
Pentatonic runs are the crowd-pleasers — every gust lands pleasantly — alongside major and minor chords and gentler keys for memorial pieces. The chord is named on your quote, and for retail programmes we build a chord ladder so a whole display sounds intentional together.
Will they survive outdoors?
That is the design brief: anodized aluminum whose colour goes through the surface rather than onto it, marine-grade cord, sealed hardwood or composite sails, and engraving cut deep enough to weather. Bamboo is cured and sealed, and we say honestly that it silvers over years outside — most owners like it more that way.
Do you make doorbells, bells or indoor mobiles?
No. Everything we make is a wind chime — tuned aluminum or honest bamboo — for gardens, porches, memorials, gifts and retail. If you need a doorbell or a decorative mobile, that is a different maker, and we will say so rather than sell you the wrong thing.
